About Me

Welcome to my corner of the internet!

I’m Christopher Schlosser, a self-published author passionate about crafting immersive fantasy worlds. My debut novel, Avalon's Legacy, is the first step in a thrilling journey through the mystical realm of Avalon. Writing has been a lifelong dream, and I’m excited to share my stories with you.

Family and Life in Central Texas

I'm a proud husband to my wonderful wife, Josephine, and a father to two amazing daughters, Micha and Johnnie. Micha is following in my footsteps as an aspiring author herself, while Johnnie brings her unique spark to our family. Our home is lively with the presence of our three dogs—a German Shepherd, a Pitbull, and a Pitbull/Great Dane mix—and, somehow, we also have a Maine Coon cat.

Interests and Hobbies

When I'm not writing, you can find me indulging in my hobbies. I’m an amateur blacksmith, fascinated by the age-old craft of shaping metal. As a self-proclaimed computer nerd, I enjoy exploring the latest in technology and spending time immersed in various digital worlds. These interests often find their way into my writing, adding depth and detail to the fantasy realms I create.

Passion for Fantasy

At 43 years old, living in the heart of Central Texas, I am driven by a deep passion for the fantastical worlds we can create within the pages of a book. There’s something magical about the ability to build entire universes, characters, and stories that resonate with readers. My goal is to transport you, my readers, to places where your imagination can roam free and your sense of wonder can flourish.

Thank you for visiting my website. I invite you to explore my works, stay updated on my latest projects, and join me on this incredible journey. Your support and feedback mean the world to me.

Warm regards,

Christopher Schlosser

I write fiction not because I possess extraordinary creativity or a rare, mythical gift for storytelling, but because I am drawn to something beyond myself—a vivid, otherworldly reality that I can only begin to grasp. It is as though I’ve been granted fleeting glimpses into a realm both familiar and alien, one that speaks to me in colors, emotions, and moments I cannot fully articulate.

My writing is an imperfect attempt to bridge the gap between that reality and this one. It is like gazing through a stained, cracked window at a breathtaking landscape on the other side—shadows distort the view, and fractures blur the details, yet the beauty is undeniable. Words are my tools, flawed and limited, but they are all I have to convey the wonder I witness. Though I know I can never capture it perfectly, the endless striving to do so is itself an act of devotion, a way to honor the mystery and magnificence of that unseen world.
